Georgia Hardinge-SS17

Georgia felt particularly inspired by the many wonders of electricity within nature as well as man-made technology. Using her signature pleating techniques, Georgia has drawn upon the architectural structures that make up metal pylons carrying electrical currents.
Whilst being fascinated with dynamic electricity, Georgia was also intrigued by the static build up of electrons that create lightning in flash strikes.
The collection itself is made up of ready to wear pieces that have been crafted in metal tones and vibrant blasts of colour, taken from the glow of city lighting. Bright streaks of neon can be found as accents within the collection to emulate the luminescence of electricity.
