Badgley Mischka rallies to the cause with the sale of a series of illustrations

Observing stay-at-home measures in Palm Beach, Florida, Mark Badgley and James Mischka, founders and designers of the American fashion brand, have taken advantage of their time of social distancing to produce a series of illustrations on the theme of the ongoing global health crisis.

Having been shared on Instagram and the brand's website, the illustrations are now being sold in an online auction that is set to run until May 17. Proceeds from the sale will be donated to the charity Feeding America.

Focusing on the theme of the global health crisis, the works highlight emotions and feelings that many of us have experienced in the current period. One of the more recent entitled "Breathe" shows a young woman assuming a Zen posture while wearing a glamorous mini-dress, "Don't Forget Your Mask" shows another equally elegant woman wearing a mask that matches her outfit while examining a butterfly. A third, "Back Off, Covid-19" shows a slender model in a glamorous backless evening gown.
