With her signature bias-cut silhouette as her starting point, the New York designer channels her whimsical, rock ‘n’ roll edge—and then some. Culled from historical references, that latter jolt of character takes shape in Edwardian-inspired high necks on exquisite lace gowns, sensual slips with a ‘90s simplicity, and the pièce de résistance: a satin charmeuse floor-sweeper with open-arm poet sleeves and a corseted waist that would look right at home on a ‘70s-era Cher.
