Lifestyle retail brands Urban Outfitters and Anthropologie have partnered with shopping and payments provider Klarna for their online stores across Europe. Timed to be introduced ahead of the peak Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Christmas trading periods, the tie-up will offer “a smoother online shopping experience” offering “flexible and convenient payment options that give [customers] full control over when and how they pay”, URBN International said.
Klarna will be available to Anthropologie and Urban Outfitters shoppers in the UK, Germany, Austria, Belgium, and the Netherlands.UK customers will have access to ‘Pay in 30 days’, the most popular Klarna service, which, as its name suggests, gives customers up to 30 days to pay for their goods after the item is shipped.
They will also have the option of ‘Instalments’, allowing them to split the cost of their purchase into three equal monthly installments. Both products incur no interest or fees, the company said.
